The conference dinner will take place on top of the Berlin Television Tower. The floor in the restaurant rotates twice an hour allowing you - while enjoying the conference dinner - a spectacular view of the surrounding city of Berlin.

For those who are interested there will be an excursion for the participants of CG'01 on Thursday, March 29th. The excursion will include a one hour ''Historic Sight Seeing'' boat trip within Berlin. After having lunch in a restaurant in the ''Nikolai quarters'' of Berlin a two hour visit of the world famous ''Sanssouci Palace'' and ''Sanssouci Park'' in the nearby city of Potsdam is scheduled. The excursion will cost about DM 40, excluding lunch. If you'd like to participate in the excursion please send an e-mail to cg01@inf.fu-berlin.de or indicate it during registration at the conference site.

If you are interested in cultural events you should check out the event database search. There you can search for all events in Berlin, especially concerts, operas, theatre staging plays, musicals etc. . The Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra for example performs concerts on Wednesday, March 28th, and on Thursday, March 29th, 2001. We recommend to reserve tickets for cultural events at the corresponding sites as early as possible. Note that sometimes, e.g. in the case of the Philharmonic Orchestra, it is also possible to order tickets by mail before the beginning of the official advance booking period.
