We are trying to provide a visually pleasing book of abstracts
at low cost, involving a reasonable amount of work from our volunteers.
We therefore ask you to strictly adhere to our guidelines - any
deviation will invariably cost us a lot of time which we would
rather spend on fun research problems.
Submission guidelines:
-
The length of each abstract is limited to a
maximum of 4 pages.
-
You have to use Latex
to prepare your submission. No other format will be accepted.
- You need to submit a .gz,
.zip, or .tar
file that contains the .tex
file, all figures, and a .pdf
or .ps version of your submission.
- Your submission should be the final version,
that is, if your abstract is accepted for presentation at EWCG
then this is the version that will be printed in the book of abstracts.
Anyway, there will be a possibility to submit an updated version after the acceptance
notification (see important dates).
-
You have to use the EuroCG07.cls
class file provided below. That is, the first line of your .tex
file has to read:
\documentclass{EuroCG07}
- The packages graphicx, theorem,
amssymb, and amsmath
are already loaded via EuroCG07.cls. Please load additional packages
only if you absolutely need them.
-
Do not include any files that are not part of
the standard Latex distribution (i.e., your own macro files).
Please copy any macros you absolutely can not do without into your
main .tex file.
-
The environments theorem (Theorem), invar (Invariant),
lemma (Lemma), cor (Corollary), obs (Observation), conj (Conjecture),
prop (Proposition), defini (Definition), and proof (Proof) are
already defined in the EuroCG07.cls file. Please add additional environments
only if you really need them.
-
Copy your bibliography
into the main .tex file.
-
Please provide author
index information, that is, add \index{FirstAuthorLast,
FirstAuthorFirst} etc. after the author information.
Please read/compile/modify the example file EuroCG07Example.tex
provided below!
Download: This .zip file contains the
class and the example file for EuroCG07
EuroCG07.zip
Please note: We need to be able to recompile your submission
from the files you send us!
Abstract submission is closed.
Please submit your final version by email as a .gz, .zip, or .tar file, including all the files needed to compile
your latex source (according to the above guidelines).
Final version is due by Monday, February 5th, 2007.
