TOURIST INFORMATION
Some of these pointers may be of interest. They are provided for your pleasure
only, we haven't checked them all.
http://www.altavista.com/, query "Antibes"
Sites about Antibes (the conference city). It has a picturesque Provencal market once a week, a Picasso museum -- he lived in nearby Vallauris -- and many other attractions (see the Beyond the French Riviera site)
http://www.altavista.com/, query "Cap d'Antibes"
Sites about the Cap d'Antibes, the picturesque peninsula bordering Antibes and
Juan-Les-Pins. You can take a walk all around it, and visit its rose gardens,
and enjoy scuba diving and snorkling on its many beaches. (March would be a
little brisk for a swim, but you're welcome to try!)
Try also other queries of interest, like "Cannes", "Nice, FRANCE", "Riviera", "Provence"

Nice.
http://www-sop.inria.fr/rodeo/personnel/hoschka/cote.html
Some thematic (many!) pointers gathered by a researcher at INRIA Sophia-Antipolis. Some of them are outdated, but many remain.
http://www.french-riviera.fr/
Site maintained by tourist association of the Riviera.
But in any events, don't miss:
http://www.beyond.fr/
*The* best site about the back-country of Provence, from Marseille to Nice,
displays many attractions by themes (gastronomy, markets, trecking, hiking,
skiing, boating, museums) with lots of practical information (schedules,
holidays, price, misc. preparation). Has tons of info on the little charming villages. Best if
you have a car, but enough on Cannes, Antibes, Nice if you go around by train.
